1. Booking status
A requested slot is not confirmed until the required advance/payment is successfully verified and the Website or Story & Fame expressly marks or communicates the booking as confirmed. A temporary checkout hold may expire if payment is not completed in time.
2. Included time
Booked time includes setup, recording/shooting, pack-down and exit unless the confirmation states otherwise. Please plan crew arrival accordingly. Use beyond the booked period is subject to availability and may attract overtime charges.
3. Package and add-ons
Only items stated in the confirmed package or add-ons are included. Equipment is subject to availability and may be substituted with reasonably equivalent equipment. Special equipment, art direction, set construction, additional crew, makeup, styling, props, talent, travel and extensive post-production are separately chargeable unless included in writing.
4. Studio conduct
The booking party is responsible for its guests, crew, talent and property. Follow reasonable safety and staff instructions. Smoking, illegal substances, dangerous activity, unauthorised pyrotechnics, weapons, hazardous materials, deliberate damage and unlawful content/activity are prohibited.
5. Capacity and special requirements
Tell us in advance about unusually large crews, children/minors, animals, heavy equipment, special electrical loads, set construction, food shoots, smoke/haze, liquids or anything that could affect safety or the studio setup. We may refuse unsafe or materially undisclosed uses.
6. Damage and loss
You are responsible for reasonable repair/replacement costs for studio property or equipment damaged through negligence, misuse or the actions of your crew/guests, excluding ordinary wear and tear. Personal equipment and belongings remain at your risk unless loss is caused by our proven negligence.
7. Content rights and releases
You are responsible for obtaining rights and releases for your scripts, music, logos, products, performers and other supplied content unless Story & Fame is expressly contracted to obtain them. Recording at the studio does not by itself transfer copyright or grant music/talent rights.
8. Minors
Minors must be accompanied/supervised as required by law and appropriate parent/guardian permissions must be obtained. Productions involving minors may require additional documentation or restrictions.
9. Food, beverages and cleanliness
Food/beverages may be restricted around equipment and sets. The booking party must leave the space in reasonably tidy condition. Excessive cleaning, damage or restoration may be charged.
10. Cancellation and rescheduling
Our Refund & Cancellation Policy applies unless the booking confirmation expressly states different terms.
11. Production assistance
Where you book crew or production support, creative decisions and deliverables will follow the confirmed scope. Studio booking time alone does not include editing, raw footage transfer, data storage, revisions or final exports unless listed.
12. Safety and right to stop work
We may pause or terminate activity that is unsafe, unlawful, materially disruptive or risks damage to people, equipment or premises. Refund entitlement in such circumstances depends on the reason for stoppage and applicable law.
